Wolpert. Whisper the name to your self. Woooolpeeert. Did the name send shivers down your spine? No? Well turn the light off and whisper it again. Wooooollppeeeeert.....
Did it work that time? I thought so!
Wolpert was born and raised in the country, and by country I mean an asteroid base. And by asteroid base, I mean Buffalo base, but there was a surprising lack of Buffalo aboard this base. So instead of raising livestock, Wolpert was trained as an engineer aboard a massive Gunboat belonging to the Liberty Rogues. Wolpert with his hands and feet and quickly rose to the rank of GreaseMonkey.
Then one day Wolpert met his lifelong friend Jeremy. Jeremy convinced him that life as a GreaseMonkey was not a good one, so they set off together in a brand new Mouldey Crow. About 3K away from Buffalo they suffered a massive colon leak and were forced to stop their adventure and hail the nearby Liberty Rogue Base for assistence, which turned out to be Buffalo Base. After being tractored back to the base Jeremy and Wolpert bid farewell and Wolpert decided to join the Liberty Rogue Guard.
His application was denied shortly thereafter, for lack of credentials, skills, money, and last name. Wolpert grew furious, and it was then that he met his lifelong friends Wulfe O'Donnel and Adam Felsheim. They convinced him that life as a failed Liberty Rogue Guard was not a good one, and they set off together in a ship for adventure. Unfortunately they made it farther than 3K, and Wolpert soon realized that he a rare Deep Space Sickness, causing numbing in the fingers, light headedness, and an itchy mouth. But this did not stop Wolpert for long, and only furthered his reputation as a bad man.
Now Wolpert is a Space Pirate. Feared by many and respected by nearly all for his daring combat maneuvers that some would call fool-hardy and crazy, but he only shrugs and gives his cocky, half-witted grin. Unfortunately, due to his inconveniencing allergy to Deep Space, Wolpert can fly in only the most exceptionally crafted vessels that contain the most sophisticated Space Air Purification devices. Currently only one ship fits his needs: a Moldy Crow classified ship he calls simply "Margery".
Will he ever see Jeremy again? Only time will tell.....
